Hailsham Primary Academy and Children’s Forest – Early Years

Children’s Forest is an education project that brings children into nature and helps them to plant and tend trees for the future generations of many species to enjoy. There are now nearly 20 Children’s Forests in the UK and the number is growing all the time. Below is a link to a case study about the Children’s Forest planted by children at Hailsham Primary Academy at Springham Farm. This case study shows how the Children’s Forest can be integrated as part of a larger project using rewilding concepts. It is a good example of how rewilding education and rewilding the land can come together. We are part of nature after all, and children can be keystone species too!
